Church Development Travels

Many of the 350 congregations established through various Lutheran initiatives, do not know what it means to be formed into one larger body. This project provides partial funding for leaders to travel to the remote places in which the Lutheran church finds itself, teaching the people through catechesis and consulting with them on the new organized structure. Congregations can then work to participate with others within the ELCL.

Chapel Roofs

Five chapels will be constructed in five different counties of Liberia. The bulk of the work, including making of the bricks, will be done by the local people. The funds from World Mission will put on the tin roofs, often unaffordable in most villages. Note: This is a revenue dependent project and can not be done until funds are received.
